Drop off Animal Essentials to Big Sunday Every Wednesday in April

Every Wednesday for WIld & Woolly Month from 10 -12 at our headquarters at 6111 Melrose Ave, we will be holding socially distant, outdoor, no contact drop offs. For April, we will focus on animal essentials. Mainly dog and cat food (preferrably canned), treats, chew toys. All brand new and unexprited. This is much needed by low-income and homeless population with pets. Important Information: 1. All drop-offs will be outside. There will be tables and dollies set up outside. 2. The donor is responsible for bringing items out of the car. Big Sunday staff will bring items in after donor leaves to ensure no-contact. 3. Everyone must wear a mask. We will have hand sanitizer if you need it. 4. It is encouraged to bring at least 1 (one) of the items we are specifically collecting that week. 5. We are hoping to collect at least 250 items each week. 6. If you don’t want to drop things off, but you’d like to contribute to these requested items, great! Join Big Sunday for TM@10 Again as We Pack Birthday Gifts for Children

Great news! TM@10 is back and in person just in time for Wild & Woolly April! Once again we’ll be meeting on Thursday mornings from 10 – 11:30. We’ll be outside in the parking lot, masked and distanced. (Yes, even if you’ve been vaccinated. Sorry!) Attendance is limited, everyone will asked to sign a COVID-waiver, and you must sign up in advance. (And yes, we know that sounds like a lot of rules, but we cannot wait to see you!) Week #1 (4/8): During the shutdown we got an enormous donation of cute, cuddly and brand new stuffed animals. We need to box them, wrap them, and enclose a hand-written card. We’ll be donating them to shelters and group homes around town to have on hand to ensure that no child wakes up on their birthday without a gift. If you would like to join please email pablo@bigsunday.org
