Need a Hug? Love Cows? Book a Cow Hug with the Gentle Barn
Come heal with The Gentle Barn! Cow Hug Therapy offers a chance to heal and find hope in the embrace of one of our gentle giants. While resting your face against the cow’s warm frame, your mind is cleared of worry, you are centered and grounded in the present time, your heart slows down to the beat of the cow’s heart, and your body gently rises and falls with their breathing, and you feel vulnerable, humble, open, and full of infinite possibilities. Cow Hug Therapy is a rare opportunity to feel like a newborn against a large, protective, and loving frame. It is where healing starts. Each Cow Hug Therapy session is an hour long, is perfect for anyone suffering from depression, anxiety, loneliness, grief, or who simply needs a good hug, and can be used either in tandem with or outside of traditional talk therapy.

Barnyard therapy is a safe place to check your life at the door, interact with small and delightful animals, and realize that no matter what you have gone through, you can move forward and find joy. Sponsor a Special Animal Today at the Gentle Barn
Save a life and sponsor an animal! Animals recovering from abuse and neglect need something to live for—medical attention alone is not enough. Love and companionship complements vet care and healing and helps animals recover faster. This is why, when the Gentle Barn rescues animal families or friends, they keep them together or encourage them to build new families at The Gentle Barn. Your support enables the Gentle Barn to continue saving and caring for some of the most vulnerable and neglected animals. Through animal sponsorships, they can provide our rescued animals with the proper vet and animal care, food, and lots of love and attention. You can pick and choose the animals you sponsor! Visit their website for a full list of their animals and to get started on your journey as an animal sponsor.

Help The Gentle Barn with Healing & Feeding Animals
Spring has arrived, and it's the most expensive time of the year here at The Gentle Barn! Our 200 rescued animals have everything they need (and more!) all year long, but each spring, we take extra measures to ensure that they stay happy and healthy in the coming season. The sheep need shearing, the llamas need haircuts, the horses and donkeys need dental care and vaccinations, the cows and pigs need hoof trims, the horses and cows need fly and sun protection, everyone needs deworming, and the straw in the barns must be replaced with cool sand. On top of all that, each of our animals still needs the same organic grass hay and organic fruits & veggies that keep them nourished and healthy all year long! If you'd like to help, please visit their website and donate.

Adopt Lucky Bunnies at Bunny World Foundation
Are you ready to give a lucky bunny a loving forever home? At Bunny World Foundation, they believe every rabbit deserves a safe, caring environment where they can thrive and be part of the family. Adopting a rabbit is a long-term commitment, and they are here to support you in finding the perfect bunny companion that fits your lifestyle. The following information is requested so that they can assist you in the selection of a house rabbit companion. This application and consultation with a BWF adoption counselor is designed to help them determine if the adoption is in the rabbit's best interest and to assist you in finding the rabbit's most compatible with your lifestyle. Rabbits are highly social-they are happiest when living with other rabbits as an integrated part of their families' lives and surroundings. Therefore rabbits are housed inside ONLY and require 5 to 8 hours of playtime daily. Please visit this link to watch an extraordinary 5 minute long video entitled "Is a Rabbit the Right Pet for You?" A Video by the Marin Humane Society. Lucky Bunnies for Adoption. In order to be considered as an adopter you must: Be able and willing to provide an indoor, loving, safe and peaceful environment for your rabbits. Be financially stable and willing to provide all necessary medical care.Be committed to the health and welfare of the rabbit for his/her lifetime (an average of 8-10 years) regardless of lifestyle changes such as divorce, moving, etc. Be aware that we DO NOT adopt rabbits to children-all members of the household should visit the prospective rabbit and apply for adoption. Be aware that we DO NOT place rabbits in a home with an un-neutered or un-spayed rabbit. Be willing to agree to a home visit and consultation by one of our adoption counselors prior to the adoption. Agree to an undefined adoption fee (per rabbit) which is used to pay for the rabbits' spay, neuter and medical care OR commit in writing to spay/neuter yourself. Be willing to agree to a follow-up home visit within 1-2 months of the adoption date. Agree to our Adoption Policies. Thank you for wanting to give a rabbit a safe and loving home. Their primary goal at BWF is education-the purpose of the initial visit is to help facilitate a good match between a bunny and your family's needs and comfort levels. Please complete the application and send via email to: info@bunnyworldfoundation.org, Attention: Adoptions.
