Volunteer with Angel Hanz for the Homeless for their Monthly Gathering
Angel Hanz for the Homeless holds a Gathering on the last Sunday of every month for the unhoused and their pets. Food, pet supplies and other essential items are distributed. A veterinarian, and animal groomer are present to provide services to all those attending. Assist with monthly gatherings: Pick-up and deliver donated items to the event location, Set-up and strike event elements (canopies, tables, food and donated items), Pick-up and delivery food, Assist with organizing and signing people up for services, Staff tables and distribute donated items, Return items to storage.

And we host hands-on projects to help local nonprofits. This week, participants will work together to assemble handmade dog toys for animals residing in local shelters. This event offers a social, lighthearted environment where people can meet new neighbors, enjoy some laughs, and create tangible items that improve the quality of life for rescued dogs. It is a perfect way to support animal welfare while being part of a helpful, diverse community. Metered street parking is available, and a public parking garage is directly across from our building.
