Join Big Sunday for TM@10 Again as We Sort and Pack Animal Treat Bags

Great news! TM@10 is back and in person just in time for Wild & Woolly April! Once again we’ll be meeting on Thursday mornings from 10 – 11:30. We’ll be outside in the parking lot, masked and distanced. (Yes, even if you’ve been vaccinated. Sorry!) Attendance is limited, everyone will asked to sign a COVID-waiver, and you must sign up in advance. (And yes, we know that sounds like a lot of rules, but we cannot wait to see you!) Week #4 (4/29): As you may know, throughout April we’ll be hosting a major collection of dog food and cat food to give to homeless people, low-income seniors and others who are struggling to take care of their pets. We’re going to be sorting all that food (hopefully there will be a lot of it!) and we’ll be putting together special treat bags for animals, too! If you would like to join please email pablo@bigsunday.org

Foster a Dog, Save a Life with Ace of Hearts

One of the best ways you can help Ace of Hearts is volunteering to foster a dog. For each new foster home that opens up, they are able to save the life of another shelter dog on death row. Opening your heart and home to a dog in need can bring you joy and the satisfaction that comes from knowing you've made a difference in an animal's life. Simply put, fostering saves lives! You provide the love and attention; they provide everything else! They provide you with food, treats, a bed, and any veterinary care the dog may need. If you are ready to make a difference and save a life by fostering an Ace Dog, please send an email telling them about your experience with dogs and your current situation, i.e., what hours you work, family pets, etc. to dogsfromheaven@aol.com.
