Connect Pets with Families with The Milo Foundation at Mobile Adoption Events
The Milo Foundation bring their adoptable residents directly to the community through a series of mobile adoption events held throughout the month. Volunteers in this role help showcase a select group of dogs and cats—many of whom are currently in foster care—to potential adopters in high-traffic areas. They assist with event setup, handle the animals safely during "meet and greets," and provide information to the public about the foundation's mission to save animals from high-kill shelters. These outreach activities are a critical part of their strategy to find the perfect match for their animals, allowing people to meet and fall in love with their next family member in a relaxed, local setting.
