Adopt a Cute Little Fur Baby in Need of Love at North Redeondo Beach Petco every Saturday with A Cat’s Tale

Weekly adoptions held at North Redondo Beach Petco. Most cats end up homeless because their former owners did not understand or plan for the long- term commitment of owning a companion animal. In an effort to make sure cats finds their forever home each of their adoption begins with an adoption application/interview and sometimes a home visit. They take the time to make sure that they are matching potential adopter’s with a cat that will fit their lifestyle and vise versa. All animals are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, micro-chipped, and additional care is provided as needed to ensure the health of each animal. Each adopted cat or kitten also comes with a free vet visit. It is their policy to require an adoption fee that helps to cover medical and routine care of the cats in their care.

Adopt an Adorable Furry Friend with the Lange Foundation

Looking for a animal companion? Please fill the Lange Foundation's cat application or dog application. Tell them about yourself and the type of cat or dog you’re dreaming about (pair of kittens, adult cat, senior dog, etc.). Please feel free to list specific animals that you are interested in, but it’s not necessary. Their goal is to play matchmaker and find the right pet for you, your family, and your lifestyle. As the adoption process moves quickly, there may be cats or dogs available to meet that haven’t even made it online yet. So if you’re not seeing your perfect match on the website just yet, it’s still a great idea to apply. The average response time to applications is 1-2 days. They'll schedule a time for you to visit the animals at their kennel. Assuming all goes well and you want to adopt, they'll take care of paperwork, collect medical records from the vet, and get everything ready for your new pet to go home. They do not do same day adoptions, but you can expect to pick up your new cat or dog from the kennel within a day or two.

Support Wildlife Orphans with Helping Rhinos through their Adoption Program

Helping Rhinos offers a unique way for the community to connect with individual animals through their Rhino Adoption program. Supporters can choose to "adopt" a specific rhino orphan, such as those being raised at the Zululand Rhino Orphanage, providing the funds needed for specialized milk, veterinary care, and 24-hour security. They provide adopters with a digital adoption pack, including a certificate and regular photos and videos of their rhino's progress, allowing families and classrooms to follow the journey of a young rhino as it prepares for an eventual return to the wild. They manage a symbolic adoption program that directly funds the rehabilitation of orphaned calves whose mothers were lost to poaching. It is a meaningful way to contribute to the survival of the species while learning about the individual personalities of the rhinos in their care.
