Make Cat Trap Covers for Pasadena Humane Society

The Trap-Neuter-Return-Monitor (TNRM) program aims at helping as many community cats as possible. Cat trap covers offer a sense of safety, protection, and calm to the cats awaiting their surgery, during post-surgery recovery, and being returned to their homes. If you'd like to make cat trap covers, please visit their website for instructions. Each cat trap cover will earn you 15 service hours. They will also accept un-sewn beach towels for 4 hours per towel. Completed service projects may be submitted any time Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. to the Volunteer Services Office. Please feel free to ask for a service hours acknowledgement form when you submit your completed projects. Contact them here for more information: hello@pasadenahumane.org.

Become a Foster Parent for the Brittany Foundation

Are you interested in having a dog, but maybe can't afford it or can't commit to forever? Consider becoming a foster home. As a foster parent, you will know the dog better than anyone, and you can provide valuable information to help place the dog. By fostering, you'll not only experience the joys of living with a dog, you'll be helping a Brittany Foundation dog find his or her perfect permanent home. Dogs in foster care still belong to The Brittany Foundation, so they provide food and veterinary care while the dog remains up for adoption. Since the dog remains available for adoption, foster homes need to be local to the Santa Clarita or San Fernando Valley, to make transportation to adoption events feasible.

Sponsor a Dog at the Brittany Foundation

Sponsoring a dog means that you contribute to a particular dog's care at the Brittany Foundation ranch. For a donation of $10.00 to $15.00 per month, your sponsorship helps defray our costs of caring for a dog. This is a great way for people who can't provide a home to a dog to still care for and help a dog thrive. Visit their website to sponsor.

Lend a Ranch Hand at the Brittany Foundation

Volunteering is a great way to offer direct help to our dogs. You get to see first-hand the difference you're making. They need help in all areas of their organization, so whatever you know how to do, they have a place for you! It takes a lot of work to run the sanctuary! Dog walking, cleaning kennels, playing with the dogs, grooming, handyman jobs, and lots of other tasks need to be done daily. Contact Nancy at brittany_dogs@yahoo.com if you'd like to help! You can also send them a DM on Instagram @thebrittanyfoundation
