Adopt a Labrador with Southern California Labrador Retriever Rescue

Looking to adopt a dog? The Southern California Labrador Retriever Rescue has plenty of Labs that are in need of a home! SCLRR is a non-profit rescue, adoption and referral organization, dedicated to placing unwanted and abandoned Labradors in new homes. Their goal is to match each of our rescued Labs with just the right family in the hopes that each new home will be a permanent one. Currently they serve most of Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura Counties. SCLRR also serve the coastal communities of Santa Barbara County from Goleta south to the Ventura County border and, in the southwestern corner of San Bernardino County we serve the cities of Chino, Chino Hills, Upland and Rancho Cucamonga—dependent on volunteer availability. If you'd like to find out more and potentially adopt one of these wonderful dogs, please visit their website at: https://www.sclrr.org/rescue/adopthow-it-works/

Foster a Labrador with Southern California Labrador Retriever Rescue

Please consider opening your home to a Lab in need with the Southern California Labrador Retriever Rescue! Fostering is important, fun and a great way to help out at no cost to you. SCLRR will provide veterinary care, food, and equipment for your foster dog. They ask their foster families to treat the foster dog as they would their own pet – with love, attention, discipline, and structure. Aside from regular day-to-day care (feeding, grooming, exercise), the responsibilities of a foster home may include basic training, socialization and evaluation, and of course plenty of playtime and snuggling. If you live in Los Angeles, Orange, or Ventura County, in a coastal community of Santa Barbara County between Goleta and the Ventura County line, or in the southwestern corner of San Bernardino County in Upland, Chino, Chino Hills, Rancho Cucamonga, Victorville, Apple Valley or Hesperia, consider becoming a Lab Rescue foster parent! Volunteer as a Family Representative with Southern California Labrador Retriever Rescue

SCLRR is looking for volunteers to serve as family representatives. Family representatives help them by doing home visits, then matching approved families with available Labs. Without volunteers to homecheck families, they couldn't know that their foster dogs would find safe and loving homes. They need people who live in Los Angeles, Orange, or Ventura County, in a coastal community of Santa Barbara County between Goleta and the Ventura County line, or in the southwestern corner of San Bernardino County in Upland, Chino, Chino Hills, Rancho Cucamonga, Victorville, Apple Valley or Hesperia to become family rep volunteers! Sponsor a Special Needs Dog at The Brittany Foundation

The Brittany Foundation houses many special needs dogs at their sanctuary. Most of these dogs are available for adoption, but due to age, medical issues, or emotional issues, it's unlikely that they will be placed. These dogs are expected to spend the remainder of their lives at the sanctuary. Veterinary expenses for these dogs are significantly higher than average. Sponsoring these dogs is a great way to offer direct help to their special needs pups, even if you can't adopt right now. To make a one-time or recurring monthly donation in support of these dogs please visit their website. Visit: http://www.brittanyfoundationonline.org/specialneeds.html
