Join the Westside German Shepherd Rescue Volunteer Team
Westside German Shepherd Rescue is comprised of a very strong family of volunteers. They cherish all their volunteers and are always in need of new ones. Whether its walking, bathing, fostering or transporting their dogs; assisting at outdoor adoption events and fundraisers; or lending a hand with admin work, volunteer work is always appreciated Their goal is simple, to save as many German Shepherd dogs as possible. They give them medical care, lots of good food, exercise and live while they wait for their forever families. Your help allows them to continue to help everyday. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please fill out their volunteer form. They will respond as promptly as possible with a short questionnaire. Care for Horses with Wild at Heart Horse Rescue
Wild at Heart Horse Rescue appreciates and are very grateful for their volunteers! They are always happy to have new volunteers come out and join their herd! You do not need experience with horses but loving them is a must! They ask their volunteers to help with grooming, watering, feeding, mucking stalls, loving and socializing with the horses. Please contact them if you would like to volunteer. They would love to give you a tour of the facility and introduce you to their horses. After all, making sure that the horses and owners match can't be a rushed process. Join us for a day of walking, bathing, and working alongside the dogs of The Brittany Foundation! Volunteering is a great way to offer direct help to the dogs at the rescue and you’ll get to see first-hand the difference you're making! They need your help with dog walking, socializing dogs, playing with the dogs, grooming, and landscaping. Whatever you know how to do, there’s a place for you! Bring your pet by Big Sunday headquarters to have their portrait taken (for FREE!) by a professional photographer. The portrait can include people (e.g., you) or just be your pet. For every portrait we take, Big Sunday will donate 5 cans of dog food or cat food (your choice!) to our Wild & Woolly Pet Food Collection! (The goal in April is 2024 cans of each. You do the math!)
