Donate to D.E.L.T.A. Rescue

Dedication & Everlasting Love to Animals, also known, as D.E.L.T.A. Rescue is the largest "No Kill, Care-for-Life," Animal Sanctuary of its kind in the world. Founded by Leo Grillo, he D.E.L.T.A. Rescue super sanctuary is home to more than 1500 animals that have all been abandoned in the wilderness. Dogs and cats who have been abandoned are about to live out their lives in comfort and safety with warm homes, high-quality food, and medical care. D.E.L.T.A. Rescue is the only organization that absolutely refuses to accept animals from the public when they want to give them up. D.E.L.T.A. rescues only animals that are abandoned in the wilderness. D.E.L.T.A. does not adopt out its rescued animals and instead provides them a safe and loving home for the rest of their lives. Volunteer Onshore with Sea Shepherd Conservation Society

Helping to conserve, protect, and defend marine life requires time, dedication and passion and most importantly the readiness to show up and promote the Sea Shepherd mission through public awareness. The below are just a few of the things you can do as an Onshore Volunteer to support Sea Shepherd’s mission: table at a local event, expo, festival or create your own tabling event, hold a benefit for Sea Shepherd at a local restaurant, pub or community meeting place, organize beach and other marine environment clean-ups, cultivate public awareness through distribution of Sea Shepherd materials and giving presentations at schools and community forums, host a Sea Shepherd party at home for friends and family, provide valuable skills like graphic design work, photography or donate art for auctions. There is a $30 non-refundable donation required for each applicant. Not only does this help cover the cost of processing your application, but if you are approved as an Onshore Volunteer, this will help cover the cost of training, orientation, and the outreach materials they send you. If you have any questions about the Onshore Volunteer program, please reach out to volunteer@seashepherd.org or check out their website! Volunteer At Sea with Sea Shepherd Conservation Society

Sea Shepherd Conservation Society needs people who are compelled to fight the injustices perpetrated upon whales, dolphins, seals, sea turtles, sea birds, fish, and every living thing in the world’s oceans. They need such people on their ship and in the ranks of our supporters. They are looking for navigators, sailors, engineers, electricians, carpenters, welders, cooks, medics or nurses, small boat operators, photographers, videographers, electronics technicians, radio and antenna technicians, and even a few unskilled but dedicated Ocean Defenders. Volunteering means dedicating usually at least a month out at sea while pulling destructive longlines from the ocean, saving ocean wildlife, educating future generations, & making good friends. The objective is to protect and save ocean wildlife and to uphold International Conservation Law. For more information, check out their website: https://seashepherd.org/get-involved/crewing-at-sea/

Adopt a Labrador with Southern California Labrador Retriever Rescue

Looking to adopt a dog? The Southern California Labrador Retriever Rescue has plenty of Labs that are in need of a home! SCLRR is a non-profit rescue, adoption and referral organization, dedicated to placing unwanted and abandoned Labradors in new homes. Their goal is to match each of our rescued Labs with just the right family in the hopes that each new home will be a permanent one. Currently they serve most of Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura Counties. SCLRR also serve the coastal communities of Santa Barbara County from Goleta south to the Ventura County border and, in the southwestern corner of San Bernardino County we serve the cities of Chino, Chino Hills, Upland and Rancho Cucamonga—dependent on volunteer availability. If you'd like to find out more and potentially adopt one of these wonderful dogs, please visit their website at: https://www.sclrr.org/rescue/adopthow-it-works/

Foster a Labrador with Southern California Labrador Retriever Rescue

Please consider opening your home to a Lab in need with the Southern California Labrador Retriever Rescue! Fostering is important, fun and a great way to help out at no cost to you. SCLRR will provide veterinary care, food, and equipment for your foster dog. They ask their foster families to treat the foster dog as they would their own pet – with love, attention, discipline, and structure. Aside from regular day-to-day care (feeding, grooming, exercise), the responsibilities of a foster home may include basic training, socialization and evaluation, and of course plenty of playtime and snuggling. If you live in Los Angeles, Orange, or Ventura County, in a coastal community of Santa Barbara County between Goleta and the Ventura County line, or in the southwestern corner of San Bernardino County in Upland, Chino, Chino Hills, Rancho Cucamonga, Victorville, Apple Valley or Hesperia, consider becoming a Lab Rescue foster parent! Volunteer as a Family Representative with Southern California Labrador Retriever Rescue

SCLRR is looking for volunteers to serve as family representatives. Family representatives help them by doing home visits, then matching approved families with available Labs. Without volunteers to homecheck families, they couldn't know that their foster dogs would find safe and loving homes. They need people who live in Los Angeles, Orange, or Ventura County, in a coastal community of Santa Barbara County between Goleta and the Ventura County line, or in the southwestern corner of San Bernardino County in Upland, Chino, Chino Hills, Rancho Cucamonga, Victorville, Apple Valley or Hesperia to become family rep volunteers!
