AAT is directed and/or delivered by a health/human service professional with specialized expertise, and within the scope of practice of his/her profession. AAT is designed to promote improvement in human physical, social, emotional, and/or cognitive functioning. AAT is provided in a variety of settings and may be group or individual in nature. Volunteer At Sea with Sea Shepherd Conservation Society

Sea Shepherd Conservation Society needs people who are compelled to fight the injustices perpetrated upon whales, dolphins, seals, sea turtles, sea birds, fish, and every living thing in the world’s oceans. They need such people on their ship and in the ranks of our supporters. They are looking for navigators, sailors, engineers, electricians, carpenters, welders, cooks, medics or nurses, small boat operators, photographers, videographers, electronics technicians, radio and antenna technicians, and even a few unskilled but dedicated Ocean Defenders. Volunteering means dedicating usually at least a month out at sea while pulling destructive longlines from the ocean, saving ocean wildlife, educating future generations, & making good friends.
